Paige Dykstra| Assistant Coach
Paige Dykstra became the Graduate Assistant Women’s Soccer coach at Concordia-Chicago in the summer of 2019.
A native of Elgin, Illinois, Dykstra was a two year starter at the University of Dubuque where she led her team to three IAC tournaments and one ARC tournament. As a goalkeeper, Dykstra is tied for third place in school history for goals against in a single season at 0.86 in 2015. During her playing career she was a three-time Academic All-Conference player and helped her team to three United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards.
“Paige is a fantastic addition to our staff” said Head Coach Shayni Paul. “She comes for a strong program that has similar values to ours and I think she has a lot to offer both on and off the pitch. Her successful goalkeeping experience will definitely translate well and give our keepers the opportunity to learn from the best, and her ability to read the game will certainly help our field players advance their play. She is a dedicated and driven person and I’m excited to see her hard work help push our program forward.”
Dykstra’s coaching experience includes coaching U4-U6 through Dubuque Soccer club in a developmental program for the youth. She also has worked camps and clinics for high school age soccer players throughout her collegiate career.
Dykstra received her bachelor’s degree in Wellness and Exercise Science while receiving an endorsement in coaching. She is currently working towards her master’s degree in Business Administration at CUC.
